Job summary We are looking to recruit a Team of Cleanliness Monitoring Officers, who will be responsible for undertaking cleanliness monitoring in line with NHS National Cleaning Specifications. This will involve the use of a computerised audit tool across all our Trust sites.The successful candidates will be working as an integral part of the Facilities Management Compliance Team, within the Finance Directorate. A good standard of literacy, numeracy and good written and verbal communication skills are crucial. A full clean driving license and good computer skills are required together with an understanding of cleaning methods, including standards and knowledge of quality auditing and monitoring.A good understanding of the regulatory requirements, including Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment (PLACE) is essential.Candidates must be flexible in their approach, innovative, with the ability to support their colleagues and work as part of a team. The ability to transport yourself and equipment across the locality during the course of a normal working day is required for this vacancy. Main duties of the job Undertake cleanliness monitoring on all Trust properties to anagreed standard using computerised quality management tool. Complete action plans for areas of non compliance. Investigation of any areas of concerns/discrepancies highlighted during monitoring and provide feedback to the appropriate staff/managers. Identification and promotion of good practice, particularly in relation to cleaning, providing recommendations for action following poor audit results, where appropriat Participation in internal compliance audits, where appropriate. Ensure any changes to the Trust's room data is reported and recorded appropriately within Facilities Management. Liaise with operational managers and staff on a daily basis on overall cleanliness performance levels. Liaison with Ward & Department Managers on any issues identified within their areas, again including recommendations for action where appropriate.
