We are looking for enthusiastic General Manager to join our team at our busy Pub and Guest Rooms! The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving drinks, and ensuring the bar is kept clean and tidy.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong work ethic. Experience of guest room management / hotels advantageous. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
* Train and develop new team members
* Banking and end of day reporting
* Managing the daily operation of the floor and supporting the team within it
* Managing and exceeding guest expectations
* Ensure exceptional quality food and drink is consistently delivered
* Be the face of the brand known for its warm welcome and guest care
* Responsible for a safe opening and closing of the bar.
* Good knowledge of our menus, ingredients, and allergens
* Adherence to all Food Safety and hygiene standards
* A passion for hospitality and your own development is a must
* Supervising and coordinating all restaurant activities
* Managing staff and providing guidance to ensure efficient operations
* Overseeing food preparation, kitchen activities, and service standards
* Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback
* Monitoring inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
* Implementing health and safety regulations in the workplace
* Developing strategies to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
* Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
* Strong knowledge of food production, culinary practices, and kitchen operations
* Excellent team management and leadership skills
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Driving Licence preferable
* Personal Licence Holder
