Our client, a well-established organisation in finance, is seeking a remote Finance Assistant to support their finance team with day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable experience in finance, accounting, and bookkeeping. Key Responsibilities Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and efficiently. Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting. Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support month-end and year-end financial processes. Communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding financial queries. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies. Ideal Candidate Profile Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is beneficial but not essential. Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of finance software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools. Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
