About the role
We are currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker to provide additional support interventions to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities in a secondary school environment. The post is to start September 2024 and will be on a long-term basis.
Support will be based in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. The position would include liaising collaboratively with colleagues and outside agencies to ensure the correct support is in place for identified learners. Case-load working is essential to this position, as is the ability to maintain student records.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Behaviour Support Worker you will:
1. Have significant experience working with people with learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties or disabilities
2. Have a high level of literacy and numeracy
3. Have the willingness to undertake any relevant training
4. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of support workers
