The Role of Depot Hire Controller: We are seeking a motivated and customer focused individual to join our Plant Operations Team as a Depot Hire Controller. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all internal and external inquiries, playing a key part in delivering exceptional service to our customers. You will have the opportunity to grow your skills, expand your product knowledge, and gain a deeper understanding of our Plant Operations. From responding to hire queries to managing the entire hire process, you’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and maximising asset utilisation, which is vital to the day-to-day functioning of the Depot. Key responsibilities include: Customer Service: Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications from customers, suppliers, and internal teams and support operations to ensure exceptional service, a positive customer experience, and timely issue resolution. Operational Support and Collaboration: Assist the onsite workshop team with administrative tasks Foster positive relationships with colleagues across depots and departments to ensure effective communication and coordination. Hire Coordination: Support new account openings, pricing, and asset availability checks. Generate hire paperwork, including contracts and delivery/collection documentation. Develop a strong understanding of the hire fleet, equipment, and accessories. Sales Support: Convert inquiries into profitable hires and drive local sales growth through proactive calls. Handle accounts on hold and process deposit transactions. Escalate any issues, such as lost hires, to the management team. Are you the right person?
