About The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Advisor with a strong background in Employee Relations (ER) to join our dynamic HR team. This role is pivotal in providing expert guidance and support on a broad range of ER matters, ensuring legal compliance, consistency, and best practice across the organisation.
Key responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management.
2. Coach and advise managers on handling sensitive people matters in line with HR policy and employment legislation.
3. Lead or support investigations into ER issues, ensuring thorough, fair, and timely resolution.
4. Partner with senior managers and stakeholders to identify and mitigate ER risks.
5. Support organisational change processes including restructures, TUPE, and redundancy consultations.
6. Monitor and analyse ER case trends to inform HR strategy and policy development.
7. Contribute to the development and delivery of ER-related training to line managers.
8. Keep up to date with changes in employment law and ensure HR practices reflect legal and regulatory requirements.
9. Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects as needed, particularly those that impact employee engagement and workplace culture.
Qualification and experience:
1. L5 CIPD or working towards
2. Experience working within Employee Relations/ Employment Legal
3. Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
4. Experience of working within a shared service HR delivery is desirable
5. Experience utilising a Case Management Tool
