We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Manager (Mental Health Nurse/General nurse) to join our client at their 'GOOD' rated Mental Health facility in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with mental health needs. This role requires a strong commitment to patient wellbeing and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
1. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
2. Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
3. Provide leadership and guidance to junior nursing staff and support workers.
4. Conduct assessments of patients' mental health status and document findings accurately.
5. Offer support and education to patients and their families regarding mental health issues and treatment options.
6. Manage daily operations within the care setting, ensuring compliance with health regulations and standards.
7. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals involved in patient care.
Skills
1. Strong background in mental health care and care practices.
2. Proficient in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology related to mental health treatments.
3. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
4. Ability to create comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
