We are looking for an experienced Wedding & Events Coordinator to be instrumental in selling and planning our Weddings, Functions, and Events. You will be responsible for organizing, running, and developing (with the Manager and Directors) the marketing and sales strategy and taking ownership of the brand.

We are looking for an extremely organized and passionate individual with a flair for sales and enthusiasm for excellent customer service. We truly value our customer's journey, so it is key that we find someone who flourishes in exceeding customer expectations. Previous experience within wedding or event coordination is required.
* Handling incoming wedding and function inquiries via email, telephone, inquiry platforms, and face-to-face.
* Conducting venue show-arounds with enthusiasm for driving and conducting sales.
* Highly organized in planning with a strong attention to detail, having own ideas, being able to drive these forward and understanding the formula of pricing events, and ensuring invoices are paid as required.
* Passionate about working in a fast-paced environment and providing excellent customer service, this will cover the events themselves but also being a team player day to day and helping on the front desk as well as in the bar and restaurant.
* Confident communicator with a positive attitude and approachable personality.
Have a secure understanding of marketing including creating brochures, flyers, banners, supporting the website, and social media. Social media to include developing new partnerships, social campaigns, linking with marketing and PR agency, video, reel, photo content creation, etc.
The ideal Candidate would have:
* Reliable means to commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
* Wedding/event coordination experience of at least 2 years.
* Sales experience: 1 year (preferred).
* Events Management experience: 2 years (preferred).
* Marketing experience of at least 1 year.
* Social media experience.
* Web SEO management desirable.
* A great eye for design and detail.
* Passion for hospitality.
* Can-do attitude.
* Great organizer and communicator.
* Team player.
* Must be able to resolve conflicts and complaints.
* Ability to remain calm and work well under pressure.
* Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines.
* Effectively network with a wide variety of clients, vendors, and establish professional relationships.
* Dependable, reliable, and maintain high-quality standards.
* Professional appearance and persona.
* Familiarity with Google Business, Microsoft Office, and PC proficiency.
* Able to work extended hours when required.
The Role
Hours of work: Full-time hours per week.
Salary: TBA depending on experience.
