Job Description
Leading hospitality client now requires a Head of Technology to strategically oversee the day-to-day operations of their technology services.
This is a strategic leadership role, which will drive operational excellence, ensure smooth delivery of our client’s services and manage relationships with outsourced managed service providers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a strategic roadmap for technology service and operations ensuring this aligns with business needs and goals.
* Oversee and manage relationships with outsourced managed service providers (Contract negotiations, performance reviews etc.)
* Ensure technology operations comply with relevant regulatory standards (e.g. Data Protection and Cyber Security)
* Oversee and manage the budget for technology operations, identifying cost saving opportunities.
* Lead, mentor and oversee the technology team, ensuring efforts align with business goals.
Key Requirements:
* Strong commercial experience in a Technology Operations position, within the hospitality, retail or restaurant industry.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical requirements and explain these to non-technical stakeholders.
* Proven experience managing outsourced MSP’s.
* Strong understanding of the technology landscape within the hospitality sector (CRM platforms, mobile apps, digital ordering systems etc.)
* Previous experience managing technology budgets and cost controls.
* Proven experience building and leading high performing teams.
This is an initial 3-month contract role which provides a daily rate of £650 (Inside IR35).
In terms of working structure, this is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in our clients Central London office and the rest remote.
