You will be compassionate and have a strong desire to help people and put residents at the heart of everything you do.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Your focus as Support Worker will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Responsibilities
1. Support adults with various needs such as dementia, physical disabilities, and mental disabilities.
2. Empower the people we support to be ambitious and live fulfilled lives.
3. Provide high-quality support tailored to people's needs through personal care.
4. Deliver person-centered support for those living with dementia.
5. Provide practical support to help people reach their goals.
6. Follow our procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable care and support.
7. Update records as required.
Essential Skills
1. Minimum 6 months experience working with clients dealing with dementia and physical disabilities.
2. Valid Enhanced DBS.
3. Good general education.
4. Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference.
5. Commitment to the aims and objectives of the residential care home.
6. Willingness to undertake training and development.
7. Own transport or ability to commute within the area required due to the location of the role.
Desirable Skills
1. Previous experience within a social care setting.
2. Confident IT user.
3. Care Certificate Qualification or willingness to work towards obtaining the qualification.
Location: BA1
Pay: £11.50 per hour
