The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a cover supervisor within schools in the UK and understand the importance of safeguarding children within an educational setting. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of regular teaching staff. You will oversee classes and ensure that pre-prepared work is completed by students. Key Responsibilities: Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups in the absence of regular teaching staff. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task. Provide support to students who may require assistance with tasks. Report back on the progress and behaviour of students during the lesson. Ensure the safety and safeguarding of students is paramount within all of your classes.
