We are looking for an Aftersales Manager who can join us.
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the Bristol office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Key Purpose
* To actively manage cases and escalations in relation to problem vehicles, in-line with FCA regulations, to mitigate financial risk to Ayvens.
* Support the delivery of the Ayven’s UK vehicle procurement strategy by creating strong partnerships with manufacturers to ensure the best outcome for Ayvens and our customers alike.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Oversee the management of escalated technical or vehicle-related issues (whereby the customer has the right to reject) with the aim to support good customer outcomes and mitigate any financial loss to Ayvens.
* Liaising with internal stakeholders to approve vehicle terminations.
* To ensure consistency, speed, and accuracy of case closure within internal customer systems (OCM).
* To track cost savings and loss prevention, analysing data to better inform the wider Vehicle Procurement function as on supplier performance.
* Work with key internal functions to offer a diligent shared service/business partner for all vehicle complaint handling needs. This includes core areas such as Customer Services, Commercial, Legal, VUE, and the wider Operations teams.
* Takes a proactive approach with the aim to both recommend and implement continuous improvement across the vehicle procurement landscape.
* Maintain an effective forward radar in the industry with key trends and observations shared across the organisation. This is combined with an active sector and vehicle knowledge base to underpin the expertise required to undertake the role.
* Ensure good risk and compliance principles are followed at all times. This includes implementing diligent governance processes for the management of cases by using robust MI and insight to allow effective supervision controls to be embedded.
* To analyse and collate data based on OEM and Dealer performance to influence our future steering and preferred partner methodology.
Skills, Experience & Background
* Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills - with the ability to negotiate, shape or influence change.
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Financially astute and commercially minded with experience of working towards various financial objectives.
* Good data analysis and reporting skills (including being able to use information effectively to inform business decisions).
* Experience of embedding robust governance and compliance into business processes.
* Exposure in supporting and delivering change or continuous improvement initiatives.
* A self-starter with good work organisation and prioritisation skills.
* An ability to work at pace and deliver focused timescales.
* A restless curiosity or passion to strive for continuous improvement in their field of expertise.
* Happy working as part of a team or taking on objectives autonomously.
* IT Applications: Good all-round personal computing skillset including Microsoft products e.g., Excel, PowerPoint.
* Desirable experience/qualifications: complaint handling, negotiation and leasing industry experience. Experience of FCA regulations preferred.
* An understanding of the automotive or leasing sector with a desire to maintain vehicle specification knowledge.
