Rate: £19 - £22 per hour Working Pattern: Full-time: Monday to Friday, 09:00AM - 17:30PM, 12 weeks. Part-time: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 09:00AM – 17:30PM, 12 weeks. About the role: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking dedicated and experienced Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians for two placements. As a Band 5 Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. Duties and Responsibilities: You will dispense and accurately check various prescriptions in line with service needs. You will manage and maintain accurate patient medication records. You will provide advice and support to patients regarding their medications. You will assist in the preparation and delivery of pharmaceutical services. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. You will participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care. Qualifications and Experience: Qualifications: Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a Pharmacy Technician. Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Accredited checking technician qualification. A minimum of 6 months recent UK NHS hospital or clinical setting experience. Mental Health (MH) experience. Experience: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
