Applications are invited for the post of Volunteer Police Cadet Leader within the Cleveland Police Cadet programme.
The Cleveland Police Cadet programme was established in 2009 and was managed by Safer in Tees Valley until the covid pandemic struck. In 2022 the programme was reestablished and is now run exclusively by Cleveland Police.
The programme hopes to provide a long-term structured developmental programme that is adventurous, informative, and exciting for young people.
This is an opportunity to engage with our youth and in some ways shape their future – a number of our current serving officers were previously cadets and some of these officers have returned to help and support the current cadet programme.
Volunteering as a Cadet Leader is a rewarding role; you’ll be a role model to young people and help them learn more about themselves and what they are capable of.
Cadets meet on a Monday or Tuesday evening between 6:30pm and 9pm either at the Learning & Development Centre (LDC) or Stockton Sixth Form College where leaders deliver a programme to our cadets aged between 13 and 17 years.
If you would like to discuss the role further, please contact Kenny Clark at Kenneth.CLARK2@cleveland.police.uk or 01642 303152.
