Join our team as the new Laboratory Technician, drive the growth of our organization and deliver real change - in a changing world - Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. - Performs tests using general laboratory equipment. - Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. - Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. - As directed, follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results. - Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. - Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions. - As instructed, examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case. - Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets. - Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems. - Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. LI-Onsite LI-ZK1 - Technical High School or Bachelor's degree (preferably: Electrical field). - Around 1-3 years of working experience in the same type of role would be preferred. - Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must. - Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers. - Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. - Ability to incorporate automation into day-to-day testing. - Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation. - Overall knowledge about batteries will be additional benefit.
