The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in managing engineering teams. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Responsibilities**

1. Lead and manage a team of engineers who design and develop low voltage power distribution and automation systems.

2. Work closely with the programme management team to prioritize and allocate engineers onto programmes and projects.
">
3. Manage technical delivery of engineering schedules and reports progress against integrated plans.
">
4. Communicate technical risks and issues to the responsible programme management team.

**Requirements**

To be considered for this role, you will require:

* A degree or equivalent level qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline.

* Proven experience in managing technical engineering teams, ideally in a design and development context.

* Strong technical knowledge of low voltage power distribution and automation systems.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
