Organon is looking for a Supply Chain Operations Associate Specialist who will be joining the Central North Europe Cluster (CNE) at Organon and will be mainly supporting distribution and logistics activities for the cluster markets.
You will be reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
This is a remote role, preferably located in one of our Central Northern Europe markets.
Primary activities include, but are not limited to:
* Support of the daily operations for our Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs)
o Monitoring interface transactions to guarantee business continuity and performing root cause analysis of SAP issues and coordination of fixes.
o Supporting operational responsibility for all logistics related tasks including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory reconciliation, stock adjustments, batch management (last authorized shipping dates, short shelf-life).
o Assisting with complaints and resolution management of temperature excursions, damaged goods and late deliveries for inbound and outbound shipments.
o Reviewing and comparing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and helping the Supply Chain Team to ensure that 3PLs are exceeding said KPIs.
* Support in periodic transport lane risk assessments including documentation, reporting and record keeping.
* Support in developing local procedures (in compliance with regional and global standards) for the department to ensure our supply chain standards.
* Monthly reporting including Intrastat, and all other reporting tasks.
* Assistance with webshop administration for the handling of promotional material, roll-ups and convention booths materials (order release and processing of customer requests).
* Build strong and professional partnerships with local and regional departments like Quality and Order to Cash.
* Support with substitution of Logistics Specialists in the CNE cluster.
* Adherence to all policies, procedures and safety requirements directed by Organon.
* Participation in various projects as a Logistic subject matter expert.
* Participation in the yearly physical inventory count.
* Participation in and support of internal and external audits as needed.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
* Engineer, Business or Supply Chain Bachelor’s degree and first years of relevant experience in Supply Chain and/or Customer Services preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
* High flexibility to support the team in different areas.
* Knowledge of Supply Chain environment.
* Ability to create productive relationships with different stakeholders and customers.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Autonomous, pro-active, fast learner.
* Knowledge of IT tools, such as Microsoft Office and SAP.
* Fluent in English.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
