Rate of Pay: £17.04 - £21.87 per Hour
Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Hostels/Family Help2 Team, delivering outreach and targeted interventions to support families and improve outcomes for children and young people. Working closely with partner agencies, you'll plan and deliver tailored interventions, promote positive parenting, and contribute to safeguarding and early help initiatives.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver outreach and support services to referred families in partnership with Family Help2 staff and external agencies.
* Hold a caseload and contribute to family care plans with a child-centred, outcomes-focused approach.
* Support Team Around the Child meetings including organising, chairing, and minute-taking.
* Prepare and present reports for professional audiences, including case conferences and reviews.
* Make appropriate referrals to partner agencies and contribute to multi-agency working.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Social Work, Family Support, Early Years, Youth Work, or related field.
* Understanding of safeguarding principles and child protection frameworks.
Experience Required:
* Experience working directly with families, children, or young people in a support or outreach capacity.
* Experience working in partnership with multi-agency teams.
* Familiarity with writing and presenting professional reports for case-related meetings.
