We are seeking a skilled Graduate Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the United Kingdom. As a key member of our Civil Engineering Design firm, you will be responsible for designing infrastructure projects under the supervision of a Senior Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering and be passionate about learning and developing towards chartership.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare design calculations, drawings, and reports under the supervision of the Senior Engineer.
* Develop knowledge of Codes and standards such as Highways, Water Industry, and Drainage Act.
* Aid project design through the full lifecycle of any Civil Infrastructure projects.
* Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data necessary for project design and planning.
* Attend meetings with clients.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, surveyors, and other engineers to ensure project coordination and integration.
* Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to secure new business opportunities.
* Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery and quality.
* Maintain your professional Development IPD or CPD expectations.
Candidate Profile:
* Must have UK right to work.
* Bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) in Civil Engineering or related field; degree preferred.
* Circa 2 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project management.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microdrainage / Info Drainage PDS and other design tools.
* Strong understanding of regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to infrastructure design and construction.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
