CASS Analyst
Edinburgh (hybrid)

Reporting to the Head of CASS Change, this role will be responsible for supervising, developing and managing change within the platforms' business, CASS Change Oversight team (CASS Unit), ensuring that any change is CASS compliant, well designed, robust and developed in line with standard methodology for the protection of client assets.
Responsibilities:
* Engagement throughout the change lifecycle to ensure all change is adequately impact assessed, solutions are designed appropriately, and testing is completed to a standard sufficient to demonstrate the solution can be deployed.
* Approve or facilitate approval of change implementation.
* Ensure full audit trail of CASS Unit engagement is maintained.
* Provide MI & ad hoc updates on change oversight.
* Providing assurance to the Head of CASS Change and Senior Management that the firms' change activities are being delivered in a safe and controlled CASS manner.
* Supply CASS Technical and change expertise to Transformation.
* Proactively drive effective CASS arrangements in the Transformed model in accordance with High Impact Strategic driver.
* Apply commercial judgement to CASS arrangements in accordance with Think Return behaviour.
* Display a leading role in the Transformation Programme to ensure it is delivered in a CASS minded manner.
Background:
* At least five years' experience of operating within the financial services industry.
* Experience of dealing with staff at all levels within an organisation.
* Experience of speaking publicly at board/executive level.
* Knowledge of the FCA's CASS rules and how they apply to platform businesses.
* Good knowledge of broader compliance requirements.
* Strong knowledge of risk management and oversight principles.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
