Job Summary
Come and work for the SBUHB Physiotherapy Service in beautiful Swansea Bay, with fabulous coastline, outdoor pursuits, and mountain walking all within easy travelling distance. Joining our team you will be afforded fantastic opportunities for CPD, teaching and mentoring through senior staff educated to Masters level, or above. We have long established links with multiple South Wales Universities, for undergrad and post-grad Physio education, including the provision of student placements.
Main duties of the job
The post holder should have extensive knowledge and experience within the field. The role requires highly developed clinical reasoning skills to diagnose and implement appropriate management plans. The post holder will require strong communication skills to support patients during challenging times. The ability to adapt and work in a busy pressurised or changeable environment is also paramount.
The role will involve supporting the education and development of others using various methods while also identifying and actively pursuing personal development needs.

Qualifications
Essential
* Physiotherapy degree or similar
* HCPC registration
* Evidence of comprehensive and advanced continuing professional development (CPD), maintained in a portfolio
Desirable
* Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
Essential aptitudes and abilities
* Ability to network and form professional relationships with other healthcare/multi-agency professionals
* Excellent communication skills, conflict resolution skills and team building skills
* Ability to organise, prioritise and delegate good problem solving and analytical ability.
Essential Experience
* Managerial/Leadership Experience including supervision e.g. technical instructors.
* Substantial experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Substantial broad range and specialist experience
* Substantial contribution to clinical education of less experienced staff, assistants and students
Desirable Experience
* Experience of working within Pulmonary Rehabilitation
