The three Partner Trusts have set an objective of creating a single procurement function which will help support the sustainable provision of clinical and non-clinical services.
A newly formed Humber & North Yorkshire Procurement Collaborative, hosted by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will provide procurement and supply chain services to its Partner Trusts and may extend over time to service other bodies within the Integrated Care System.
Working as a Supply Chain Assistant based at Bridlington District Hospital, you will contribute to the cleanliness, security, and safety of equipment and stock throughout the Trust.
Main duties of the job
Working in the Stores, you will be responsible for:
1. Taking delivery of products delivered to site.
2. Receipting all goods delivered onto the e-Procurement system.
3. Delivering stock to wards using roll cages and other moving equipment.
4. Stocking clinical and non-clinical areas with products delivered.
5. Maintaining stock rotation to minimise wastage.
6. Scanning to reorder stock against agreed stock levels.
You will work within clearly defined procedures using your own initiative on routine matters and refer to the Site Lead when necessary. You will ensure an efficient and effective customer-focused service is provided for all staff across the site, ensuring they can deliver excellent patient care.

Job responsibilities
This vacancy is based at Bridlington Hospital. Your role will be mainly based in the stores department.
30 hours per week (5 hrs per day) 9am till 3.30pm.
