About the role - Sales Account Manager
As their Sales Account Manager, you will be working within a successful sales team to proactively develop, manage and grow sales and relationships with existing customers and partners.
Your main responsibilities as their Sales Account Manager will include:
1. Hunting and onboarding new customers.
2. Identifying new opportunities and contacting new leads.
3. Supporting customers and partners, increasing their brand awareness, and hitting individual and team sales targets.
4. Developing a thorough understanding of resellers and their business needs.
5. Introducing core product sets to each account focusing on their Strategic Vendors.
6. Profiling your accounts to develop multiple contacts within each account at Sales Support, Account Executive, Account Manager, Project Manager/Management level.
7. Reporting back to your line manager on sales pipeline/account profitability/sales opportunities/general account activities.
8. Working with the Base Camp team to provide an excellent level of customer service.
9. Introducing propositions to both new and existing partners.
10. Establishing new business opportunities with targeted accounts through prospecting, networking, qualifying, and closing techniques.
11. Creating a long-term pipeline and strategies.
12. Providing customer quotations and working closely with other teams to ensure world-class service for their customers.
13. Requesting and sourcing quotes from their strategic suppliers, creating base products to enable quick quotes.
14. Engaging in targeted account activity and warm calling in line with the strategic plan as agreed with the Chief Revenue Officer.
15. Spotting and acting on upsell, cross-sell, and consolidation opportunities.
16. Participating in and following up on all marketing activity and vendor campaigns.
17. Keeping databases up-to-date and engaging in product, systems, and skills training and development as required.

About you
As their Sales Account Manager, you’ll have a good standard of education, including Maths and English GCSE grade 4/C (or equivalent) and above, plus a minimum of two years sales experience. Their most successful people are commercially minded, focused, supportive, pragmatic, and creative. Does this sound like you?

Working in the office in Ashburton, Devon. Once you have passed probation, there is an option to work part of the week from home.
