This position will join our Europe Accounting team based in our UK Head Office in Kendal, Cumbria. Financial activity for the European entities is supported out of the UK and this is an exciting new role to support the team. If your answer to the above is Yes, then we want to hear from you Principle Accountabilities Of The Role Include Management and support for the Europe accounts payable function Review of the monthly management accounts in a timely and accurate manner. Completion of monthly balance sheet folders provided for review and final approval by the Financial Controller. Completion of monthly consolidated reporting software used to report Europe Division results to the US for review and certification by the Financial Controller. Key monthly and quarterly management information requests reported to the US corporate teams. Support for budget and forecasting. Support with taxation requirements and reporting for all European entities. Including preparation of Dutch & Belgium VAT returns Liaising with internal Stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and results Ownership of the capital assets process. Key point of contact for both internal and external auditors. Actively promote the Core Values within all work based activities Skills And Knowledge Required Ability to learn accounting packages and reporting tools. Ability to process data accurately in an efficient manner. Excellent Excel Skills Ability to communicate to employees at variance levels within the company and outside stakeholders. Previous experience of managing a team. Previous experience working in manufacturing desirable Experience working to SOX requirements and USGAAP desirable. ACA/ACCA/CIMA – part qualified/qualified desirable Working Conditions Office based in Kendal.
