MacGregor Black is partnering with a Consumer Products Company on the search for Chief Executive Officer. This is a permanent role based in North Yorkshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of scaling businesses, driving innovation, and positioning brands for long-term success. Working closely with the private owners, the CEO will be instrumental in building a high-performing, well-governed organization with a strong infrastructure and an ambitious growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a long-term brand strategy to position the company as the premium choice within its category.
* Expand the business across both Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and retail channels, both in the UK and internationally.
* Drive market penetration within key high-street retailers, ensuring strong commercial partnerships.
* Establish robust governance, operational infrastructure, and supply chain processes to support sustainable growth.
* Build a high-performing team and culture that fosters innovation, agility, and excellence.
* Maintain and strengthen the company’s premium positioning and price point in the market.
* Deliver strong financial performance, driving profitability while reinvesting in brand and business growth.
* Lead the company through a journey of transformation, preparing it for future strategic options, including potential sale.
* Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities and emerging consumer trends.
* Work closely with the private owners, ensuring alignment on business vision and strategic priorities.
* Inspire, lead, and mentor a high-performing leadership team.
* Build and nurture relationships with key industry partners, suppliers, and stakeholders.
