Join Our Team as a Product Support Engineer!
We're hiring for exciting roles, including a Product Support Engineer at our Havant facility, WASP. Be part of a team that creates high-end passenger products like custom lighting and luxury switches for aircraft interiors.
What You'll Do:
* Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and production improvements.
* Support: Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely engineering support.
* Design: Utilize 2D & 3D CAD (Solidworks) for design changes and BOM management.
* Prototype: Engage in 3D printing, prototyping, and hands-on builds.
* Innovate: Drive design enhancements considering manufacturability and cost.
* Document: Review and approve documentation impacted by design changes.
Key Skills:
* Analytical and detail-oriented approach to design and manufacturing.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong initiative, even with limited information.
* Excellent interpersonal skills across all business levels.
* Proficiency in Solidworks (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree / HNC / HND in a relevant engineering field.
* Experience in designing products and assemblies.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Understanding of aircraft manufacturers’ qualification standards (e.g., D6-36440, RTCA/DO-160).
