Senior Functional Safety Engineer - System Level

About the Role
As a Senior Functional Safety Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our clients cutting-edge automotive systems. You will be responsible for delivering key safety-related deliverables, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation in functional safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement functional safety strategies aligned with ISO 26262:2018 standards.
* Lead the creation of safety-related documents such as Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment (HARA), Safety Concept, Safety Requirements, and Verification & Validation (V&V) plans.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of safety considerations into the product development lifecycle.
* Perform system reviews, integration, and V&V activities to validate safety requirements and mitigate risks.
* Collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure compliance with safety standards and timely delivery of components.
* Identify and implement innovative solutions to address complex safety challenges.
* Stay updated on the latest industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in functional safety engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
* Strong understanding of ISO 26262:2018 standards, particularly Parts 3 and 4.
* Proficiency in safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, and HARA.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
