Are you ready to take on a role that truly matters? We’re seeking a dedicated service administrator to support vital advocacy and children's rights services for young people in custody across England and Wales.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Service Administrator, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring young people in secure establishments and children’s homes have their voices heard and receive the support they need.
You’ll get to work with a lovely bunch of people spread across the country at different establishments, all united by the common goal of supporting and giving a voice to some of the most vulnerable and let-down children in society.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating with onsite teams to ensure timely and effective responses to children’s requests for help.
* Supporting colleagues remotely with professionalism, patience, and care, even in challenging environments.
* Producing and analyzing data to meet strict reporting deadlines and actively presenting findings during commissioner meetings.
* Answering helpline requests to support children in custody by listening to their feelings and needs, making them feel heard and valued, and connecting them with a local advocate who can further assist.
Every day is different and varied, and whatever the task, you’ll know that it’s meaningful and worthwhile, contributing to the smooth running of a service that positively impacts children in custody across the country.
Why You?
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Patient and compassionate, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with care.
* Highly organised, comfortable managing deadlines and detailed data reporting.
* A strong communicator, able to connect with people remotely in challenging environments.
* Data-savvy, and confident in analysing and presenting information.
This role requires Ministry of Justice (MoJ) security clearance, as well as Baseline Personnel Security Standard and Enhanced DBS checks.
What We Offer:
This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people. Join a team where your work directly contributes to supporting and uplifting children who need it most.
Don’t wait! This opportunity may close before the advertised deadline due to high demand. Apply today and be part of something extraordinary.
