Description and requirements: They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Building Services commercial team in London. The purpose of the role is to successfully manage the MEP project finances and contractual obligations internally and externally. You’ll: Undertake all responsibilities in line with company policies and IMS procedures. This includes adhering to the Code of Conduct, Contract Performance Procedure, Project Review Management Guidelines, Risk and Opportunity Management Guidelines, Design Management Guidelines and Project Close out Guidelines. Ensure that the obligations and responsibilities of the Project and other stakeholders are properly fulfilled Monitor and manage the scope, notices, terms and conditions of the Contract Monitor and manage the contract procedures, payments, variations together with contract entitlements Monitor and manage dispute management procedures Manage recovery from client changes through understanding and applying the deal Monitor and manage the risk management philosophy for the project Develop project profit improvement strategies What you'll bring to the role: Experience of running MEP projects or No 2 positions on large MEP projects Previous experience at QS level running significant multiple subcontract packages £5-10MGood working knowledge of contract/commercial law Experience with Design and Build forms of contract Relevant CSCS Card SMSTS Degree or equivalent in commercial related subject
