NHS 111 online helps you find the right care for an urgent health problem. We are a multidisciplinary team of user researchers, designers, clinicians, developers and technical people working to agile principles. Our priorities are set by user needs and our aim is to develop a product that is accessible to all.
We are looking for a Content Designer to join our award-winning team. You will gain experience working on a patient-facing product in an exciting and fast-paced environment
· Work as part of a multidisciplinary squad creating new features/improvements as set out by our roadmap
· Create clear, actionable content based on user need to NHS Service Manual standards
· Work with 111 online and NHS Pathways clinicians to ensure the triage is appropriate for unassisted, online users, including media where appropriate
· Be responsible for checking and updating content for new Pathways algorithm releases (4x per year) for 111 online
· Work closely with interaction designers and user researchers to design user journeys and flows based on user insight
· Iterate live content based on user feedback and data insight
· Attend and present crits within the design squad
· Advocate for user-focused content with internal and external stakeholders

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
