Furture Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Stores & Logistics Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, and compliance of all company assets, including vehicles, machinery, equipment, and consumables for a large steel engineering contractor. You will be responsible for tracking, servicing, and ensuring regulatory compliance of all tools, materials, and logistics operations across their sites. Key Responsibilities: Asset & Inventory Management: Maintain and track all equipment, tools, and consumables, ensuring compliance with CE Marking, LOLER, PUWER, and IMS procedures. Logistics Coordination: Plan and oversee deliveries, fleet management, and site requests, minimising waste and optimising efficiency. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all tools and equipment are PAT tested, certified, and meet required safety standards before deployment. Hilti On-Track Implementation: Oversee and develop the system to streamline asset tracking and procurement. Team & Process Management: Lead the Stores & Logistics team, recruit staff, and enforce best practices in stock control and logistics. Audit & Reporting: Maintain an accurate asset database, manage FORS compliance, and report to Directors on logistics and operational efficiency. Ideal Experience Needed: Strong experience in stores, logistics, and asset management within construction or engineering. Knowledge of fleet management, compliance standards, and health & safety regulations. Experience with tracking systems such as Hilti On-Track is an advantage. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Ability to analyse and optimise logistics operations, reducing costs and improving efficiency.
