We are seeking a skilled Chef Manager to lead and manage a contract catering service, creating a new dish daily and ensuring high-quality meals.
About the Role:
* Menu Planning: Create a varied menu with a new dish daily.
* Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook high-quality meals daily, ensuring consistency and excellent presentation.
* Inventory Management: Order and manage stock efficiently, minimizing waste and ensuring fresh ingredients are always available.
* Compliance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene in accordance with regulatory requirements.
* Customer Service: Engage with clients and customers to ensure satisfaction, tailoring services to meet their needs.
* Budget Management: Monitor food costs and manage the kitchen budget effectively.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen.
About You:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar role, ideally within a contract catering environment.
* Culinary Skills: Strong cooking skills across a range of cuisines, with a passion for creating delicious, healthy meals.
* Organized: Ability to manage all aspects of a kitchen independently, from planning to execution.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with clients and customers.
* Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to solve problems efficiently as they arise.
* Qualifications: Relevant culinary qualifications and a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
