Are you a Fully Qualified Teacher who is looking to work on a part-time basis in the Eden area? Then, we may have the opportunity you are looking for!
For this role, we are looking for FQT English Teachers. As a tutor, you will need to build a relationship with students and tailor your approach to cater to their additional needs and preferences. You may also be required to quickly adapt your approach to suit the environment in which the pupil is.
The pay for tutoring is £25-£30 per hour. It is desirable for applicants to hold a full UK driving licence, as a selection of pupils may need to be tutored within their home/at a local library.
Requirements for the role:
1. Professional Teaching Qualifications are preferred (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS).
2. A desire to promote, encourage, and motivate students.
3. An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
4. Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH, and other additional needs.
5. An excellent understanding of the English curriculum.
6. Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
