Biological Safety Administrative Assistant

Salary: UoG Grade 5, £26,038 - £30,505 per annum, pro rata
This post is part time (17.5 hours per week) and fixed term for up to 12 months from the start date.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Biological Safety Administrative Assistant to join the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences.
The post holder will provide a range of administrative support within the Biological Safety team of the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS). In addition, you will assist the MVLS Biological Safety Manager on administrative duties related to general biosafety management as well as clerking College Genetic Modification (GM) Safety Committee meetings and contributing to the organisation of biosafety training seminars. The role requires a high degree of organisation to ensure that administrative tasks are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
