Morson Talent are working with a major client in the Nuclear Sector who have a current requirement for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join their established team in Devonport, Plymouth. This is a 12-month contract role – inside IR35.
Overview:
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will:
* Deliver commissioning projects to meet the appropriate national legal requirements and Client's requirement specification.
* Report to the Commissioning Manager and provide front line supervision of electrical commissioning to BS7671 & BS2391
* Provide site support and technical oversight in preparation for and during commissioning on the Fleet 22 project.
* Safely implement and manage allocated commissioning packages of work in line with project requirements, technical and regulatory standards and specifications.
* Prepare/Review/Implement Setting to work/SAT documents.
* Plan, assess and generate Safe Systems of Work and where applicable manage the subsequent implementation of the allocated work scope in accordance with the commissioning strategy and commissioning safety plan
Key Responsibilities
