Salary: Grade 7 - £48,890 - £53,540
Basis: Full Time
Contracted Hours: 36 Hours
Package: Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Why is the role important?
The Interim People Lead role delivers and supports a wide range of people services across the business including developing a strong organisational culture, and supporting the delivery of the HR People Plan, ensuring alignment with the overall Business Plan.
Key Outcomes:
* Play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the people plan.
* Support the organisation through periods of change, providing insights and recommendations on ways to continuously improve the organisation, implementing organisational re-design/change strategies.
* Ensure we provide an efficient, productive, and focused service with processes that drive good value for money and increase customer satisfaction.
* Play a significant role in the shaping, embedding and continuous development of the culture at Bolton at Home, and promote an inclusive, diverse culture where everyone is accountable and respected.
What's involved?
* Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, within the AD Team, managers, employees, Trade Unions, and other partners.
* Advise on a range of people matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance management and capability, restructures/redundancy/severance, and workforce planning.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the People Team. Develop as well as mentor the team, promoting professional growth and focusing on succession planning.
* Provide specialist advice on a range of employee relations matters and work positively, in close partnership with the People team and managers, to resolve problems and achieve business-focused outcomes while coaching and developing the team in support of succession planning.
* Support policy reviews and best practices to ensure the cultural shift is moving at pace to modernise the organisation.
* Ensure all Health & Safety issues identified are reported and appropriate learning is shared.
