Job summary The Elms Surgery located in Watford, are looking for an operations coordinator, to join our family friendly GP surgery team on a part or full-time basis, Monday to Friday, flexible for the right person. This important staff member, will be responsible for parts of the day to day operating of the practice, including IT support, admin support and troubleshooting. The team member will also work closely with the relevant ITS. EMIS, ICB and other external contacts as well as business partner and admin manager. Main duties of the job Ensuring the smooth running of the practice. Onboarding and off-boarding staff from clinical system, computers, GPTN and other related IT systems used by the practice. Being the primary contact for external IT and related ICB colleagues. Coordinating the practice and external meetings. Taking minutes, creating templates, diary management support. Supporting BP with creating practice procedures and pathways. Troubleshooting IT issues for the practice and staff members. Coordinating with medical students, onboarding, creating rotas. Supporting CC with winter vaccinations via Accubook and EMIS. Supporting CC with chronic disease clinics if and when required. Acting at the PPG practice champion. Being the Accurx, Ardens, Pinnacle and other related software support coordinator. Supporting the admin manager and business partner. Maintaining the PIDS and practice website. About us The Elms Surgery is a medium sized practice located in Nascot village and Cassiobury area of central Watford. As well as the excellent road and rail commuter links there are many outstanding schools nearby, both primary and secondary, including Watford Boys and Girls Grammar. The practice looks after almost 9,000 patients and is part of the Central Watford PCN and uses EMIS clinical system. We are a very supportive and friendly practice looking after 9000 patients.
