An exciting opportunity to join a very high-end Jewellery company based in West London is available for an experienced Quality Control Specialist. The Quality Control Team plays a crucial role in the operational business by overseeing daily quality-focused tasks, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards and the company requirements. As a Quality Control Specialist, the main mission will be to leverage your technical product expertise to control products, understand the company's essential DNA and share feedback for improvements. This is a unique opportunity to join a team of experts, working in a progressive business environment. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high standards of Quality.
Must be capable of interpreting data, recommending actionable insights, and have the ability to plan, organise, and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Will also be able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
Main Duties:
1. Manage the daily Quality Control tasks and flow, from workshop deliveries, customer returns, repairs, special orders.
2. Support in the development and implementation of the Quality Control procedures.
3. Identify and communicate on Quality issues in order to take corrective actions.
4. Analyse data to pinpoint areas for improvement and provide feedback to the teams.
5. Update and maintain Quality Reports and logs to monitor Quality metrics, actively seeking opportunities and improvements.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
It will be an added advantage to be GIA Diamond/Gemstone Qualified, and it's a must to have a background in Jewellery or high-end retail. Knowledge of SAP is also required. You will be adaptable and have a willingness and openness to adapt to client needs and challenges as they arise. Excellent communication skills and a passion for the Jewellery business are essential.
