We are looking to appoint someone with a passion to solve problems and take pride in the appearance of our estates.
The purpose of the job is to ensure that we address all the small repairs/improvements that often get overlooked, as well as helping to improve the speed with which we complete our communal repairs.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Collate work requests from across the business and prioritise these into efficient packets of work.
2. Complete quality inspections on our estates and blocks.
3. Undertake minor repairs to communal areas.
4. Assist caretakers with rubbish clearances, blocked chutes, and deep cleans.
5. Update noticeboards and signage.
6. Work at height to replace light bulbs.
7. Attend emergency situations as required.
8. Assist with salting and snow clearance.
9. Other duties that, as the role is developed, might reasonably be added or removed by the line manager, with regard to capability and scope of the post.
10. Undertake training to develop the required skills to fulfil this post.
11. 60% gutter clearance and repairs.
