Role:
They are now seeking highly motivated Contracts Engineer to join their experienced team. The successful candidate will manage projects from initial design to installation and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise multiple contracts at the same time, ensuring all client specifications and deadlines are met.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth communication throughout the project.
Work closely with the design and contracts team to develop bespoke solutions tailored to each project’s requirements.
Prepare and manage project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.
Conduct on-site surveys, including taking accurate measurements to produce detailed drawings.
Use 3D AutoCAD to create and review technical designs and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Monitor project costs and budgets, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
Attend site visits and client meetings when required.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience in a Contracts Engineer role (preferably within the industry of commercial flue systems, ductwork or LEV sectors).
Proficient in 3D AutoCAD, with the ability to create and interpret technical drawings. Strong technical knowledge of air movement and ductwork.
Experience in conducting site surveys and taking accurate measurements. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A full UK driving licence (required for site visits).
