Lecturer in Games Design
Location: Gloucester
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience) + Up to £10K in bonuses
Bonuses:
£6,000 TAX FREE per year for first two years (if within first 5 years of teaching)
£4,000 scarce skills bonus paid after 12 months
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (37 hours per week, negotiable)

What You’ll Do
Deliver engaging lessons across the five core content areas: informing ideas, problem-solving, technical skills, professional practice, and communication.
Guide students in creating industry-standard portfolios, specializing in areas like character and environment design, sound, text, and motion graphics.
Equip learners with technical and transferable skills that reflect current industry practices.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a rich and immersive learning environment.
This position is open to both part-time and full-time candidates, with hours and location finalized in consultation with the hiring manager.
What We’re Looking For We are searching for a passionate educator who is ready to challenge learners and elevate their skills in Games Design. Prior teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory—your expertise in the subject and enthusiasm for student success is what matters most. You must have industry experience or a degree in games design/development.
