We'd love to hear from you About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Corporate Functions Risk team as a Risk & Controls Lead.
You will be responsible for supporting and embedding all risk and controls activity across the Corporate Functions.
This includes enhancing the functions' risk maturity through ensuring compliance with required policies and standards, improving risk awareness & risk culture and production of key risk reporting.
What you'll be doing Facilitate the RCSA process across all corporate functions, including continual development of RCSA quality.
Support with the delivery of risk maturity activities, monitoring and reporting progress against action plans, and escalating concerns.
Support the embedding and enhancement of Risk Culture across the corporate functions.
Maintain the administration and reporting of risk appetite metrics, providing commentary and working with key stakeholders to take action as required.
Support all areas in managing their risk events and conducting root cause analysis Work with the Corporate functions to evolve their control environment in support of their risk profiles Support the development of risk and control reporting to various SLTs across the corporate functions, providing insight and thematic analysis as well as identifying changes in the various risk profiles.
Using Risk Experience to provide training and education across the corporate functions on all parts of the ERMF as necessary to evolve understanding.
Deputise for Senior Risk Manager as required at SLTs, with 2nd & 3rd Line and at Risk Maturity Working Groups.
About you Prior experience within Risk and Controls, preferably within the Financial Services Industry.
Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Strong stakeholder management skills, able to build effective relationships at all levels, skilled at influencing, negotiating and managing challenging conversations with ease.
Ability to work, and be resilient, in a fast paced and changeable environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to distil complex concepts into common language.
Proactive and motivated to drive continuous improvement across the risk framework and business areas Interview process This will be a 2-stage interview process, consisting of competency and behavioural questions, and an assessment task.
Working Schedule This role is based in Bristol head office, BS1 5HL.
