Job Title: Deputy Manager
Pay Rate: £33,800 - £36,200 depending on qualifications and experience (scale based on qualifications and experience, inclusive of sleep in at £50 per sleep - Minimum of 4 sleeps per month)

What will I do as a Deputy Manager?
As a Deputy Manager you will be part of the management team who leads a team to provide a therapeutic, safe and loving home for children and young people. You will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in managing and developing a high-quality service for all the young people along with the management and development of the staff team.
You will:
* Support the Registered Manager in ensuring compliance with company policy and procedures and in meeting OFSTED requirements
* Deputise for the Manager in their absence
* Safeguard and promote the welfare & development of the young people
* Develop, support and supervise the staff team
* Act as a role model and demonstrate appropriate pro-social ways of dealing with problems
* Be ambitious for young people, helping them achieve their goals and optimise their potential
To be considered to work for us, you must have:
* Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* You must be over 21 years old
* 2 years experience working in a Residential Children's Home (either as a Team Leader or Deputy Manager)
* A track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff
* Candidates must be suitable to work with children & young people within a care setting (pre-employment checks)
* Awareness of safeguarding issues and ability to safeguard the welfare of young people
* Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours
* Hold a full UK Driving Licence
