The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the administration and management of investment portfolios and contributing to the overall investment process including asset allocation and policy decisions as well as portfolio construction and asset selection. The successful candidate will be expected to be able to work independently, as well as with a team on projects and collaborate closely with senior leaders to drive value creation across our investment initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the analysis, selection, and monitoring of investment opportunities across a variety of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternative investments, and private equity. Develop and contribute to investment strategies that align with the organizations objectives and risk tolerance. Conduct comprehensive due diligence and valuation analysis on potential investments, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods. Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and recommendations for the investment committee. Monitor portfolio performance, track key financial metrics, and make timely recommendations for adjustments. Identify and manage risks associated with investment portfolios, ensuring that risk levels remain within approved guidelines. Maintain relationships with external partners, including brokers, analysts, and other investment professionals, to stay abreast of market developments and opportunities. Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the firms investment processes, policies, and systems. Stay updated on global market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to inform investment decisions. Required Skills/Qualifications: Professional Investment certification; minimum CISI Level 4 or equivalent. Alternative professional qualifications such as CFA/ACCA would be considered. Be able to demonstrate a high degree of numerical and analytical ability. Experience of risk management, and performance analytics would be beneficial. An understanding of global financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory frameworks. High level of attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
