Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept:
As a Process Engineer extraordinaire, you'll be the mastermind behind optimising construction methodologies for our clients' cutting-edge projects. Here's a sneak peek at what you'll be up to:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Check and discuss the technical feasibility of drawings, 3D models and centre of gravity with Project Engineers.
2. Give instructions on how to prepare a mock-up.
3. Establish a construction methodology for the production of a specific project and write instructions for it, in collaboration with the Production Manager and HSE staff.
4. Determine the tools and auxiliary steel needed for installation and communicate with our various production sites regarding available resources, timing and budget.
5. If required, arrange and order external resources from suppliers.
6. Ensure efficient use of existing resources and reuse materials whenever possible.
7. Prepare the project budget.
8. Prepare lifting plans in consultation with the transport department.
9. Write Risk Analysis Method statements.
10. Optimise the site in terms of efficiency and make improvements, where possible.
11. Provide support to production managers by conducting inspection tours and solving ad hoc problems in production.
Required Skills and Attributes:
1. Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar.
2. Good knowledge of production equipment (machinery, tools...), (raw) materials.
3. Good demonstrable knowledge of Autocad.
4. Able to work autonomously and plan well.
5. Proactive in approach to work, looks for new techniques and offers ideas for innovation. When problems arise, looks for solutions!
6. Demonstrates a thirst for continuous learning. We will support you to grow.
7. Possesses strong communication skills and is flexible.
8. Able to adapt to a very changeable environment.
