Job Title: Engineering Skills Coach Assessor

Salary: £41,997- £47,569 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
* Enact effective programme delivery that utilises a coaching and blended learning pedagogy to train, monitor, develop and assess apprentices against relevant qualification Standards/ frameworks in support of them attaining occupational competence
* Effective recording / reporting of performance data in support of delivery outstanding outcomes for learners
* The coaching and development of employees and learners through off-the job training courses, welfare support and careers guidance to aid their progression, attainment and transition into the business
* Embed modern learning practice such as skills competitions and problem based learning as an integral part of the learning and assessment programme
* Develop programme content and teaching, learning and assessment methodologies to meet individual learner and business needs
* Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for learners whilst on Early Careers & Skills programmes
* Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure practitioner skills and programme content is current and aligned to business needs
Your skills and experiences:
Essential
* Time served Toolmaker experience
* Pastoral support experience
* Skilled professional with a track record of occupational competence
* Effective coaching and mentoring skills
Desirable:
* Qualified practitioner in Education and Skills training or willing to work towards qualification
* A1 or TAQA qualification or willing to work towards qualification

The Skills Coach Team:
You will be working within the skills and development team alongside other development skills coaches reporting to a development lead. The team will adopt a collaborative approach to assessment and internal quality to maintain a supportive environment sharing best practice. The wider team you will be working with includes a Quality team, Capability team and Knowledge team who work closely to enhance the learner experience.
