Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 5 registered nurse on the Urology unit at Clatterbridge Hospital. The position is to join an experienced and specialised nurse practitioner team to support with providing excellent care for our speciality patients.
We currently have a vacancy for a full-time Band 5 Nurse who takes pride in delivering quality and compassionate care.
Main Duties of the Job
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively as part of the team and deal with complex and sensitive situations in a professional manner. You will be required to demonstrate commitment to patient experience, in line with the Trust Core Values, and in support of our patients.
As a new member of the team, you will be given the opportunity to learn new skills, working with all members of the MDT to deliver excellent standards of care. You will have opportunities to develop and progress in a caring and supportive team which is continually expanding.

Qualifications, Specific Experience & Training
* Evidence of Professional Development
* Suitable for newly qualified or experienced staff nurse
* Experience of maintaining accurate records
* Relevant clinical knowledge and experience
* Act as a practice supervisor
* Willing to undertake Practice Assessor Training
* Relevant Degree or willing to register to work towards degree
* Relevant or willingness to undertake relevant module/course
* NHS Experience
* Awareness of Health Policies and the changing NHS environment
Knowledge and Skills
* Awareness of evidence-based practice
* Good organisational/time management skills
* Ability to deal with an acute workload
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
