We are looking for a Junior Scenic Carpenter to join our team. Are you motivated, want to work in a busy environment where there's always the next exciting project to build. We have a large workshop on the outskirts of St Neots, Cambridgeshire and are looking for someone who can think on their feet and always ready for the next job. If you have experience in the Live Events, that would be amazing. If you have any carpentry experience that would also be a huge benefit. You will be working in the workshop creating bespoke structures, then out onsite recreating the build at a venue. You will need to work unsociable hours at times, evening and weekend work. So this is not a 9-5 Monday to Friday job. We have a fantastic vibe here, lots of banter and you would be welcomed into the team. This is the outline of the role: To work within the Scenic department to ensure that all carpentry jobs are prepped to exacting standards, customised for each project across the group, and meet the client’s needs onsite. To assist with preparation of textiles as required. To ensure that warehouse procedures are adhered to. To work collaboratively with outside organisations in the preparation of kit when required. To ensure H&S requirements are adhered to at all times. To assist other departments across the group as and when required. To work on site if required.
