BRIDPORT
YOU MUST LIVE WITHIN 25 MILES OF DT6 (DORSET)
Temporary to Permanent role
Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
£14.00 to £16.00 per hour DOE

Our client is seeking a FOOD TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (ADMIN) to join their small office team located in Bridport. Are you looking to acquire new skills which are sought after within the food industry? This is a great opportunity to join an expanding local company to assist them with food safety compliance, technical and quality assurance tasks. Depending on your skill set, the client is happy to negotiate the hourly rate. This is a vital role within their team.
* Ensure compliance with BRC food safety standards.
* Assist in evaluating and monitoring supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
* Be on site for supplier visits and provide documentation & reporting evidence.
* Maintain accurate records of audits, supplier evaluations, and technical assessments.
* Assist in the preparation of reports related to food safety and supplier performance.
* Ensure all technical documentation is up to date and readily available for audits or inspections.
CV must show:
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Strong administrative working background (Minimum of 3 years office based).
* Previous experience within a food industry role, preferably in a technical or quality assurance capacity would be an advantage but not essential.
* Knowledge of food safety management systems and certifications (HACCP, BRC, Organic) would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Candidates must hold:
* Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance.
