About the Role:
We are excited to offer a new opportunity for an Electronics Design Engineer to join a growing team in the development of cutting-edge products within the safety and detection sectors. Our client, a British-owned company, designs, develops, tests, and manufactures all their products in their state-of-the-art facilities in Lancashire.
In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing new products, collaborating closely with a dynamic team of engineers across multiple disciplines. From initial concept to in-house testing and final production, you'll have the opportunity to see your designs come to life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop a variety of new products, including both analogue and digital circuits.
* Collaborate with engineers in a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions.
* Contribute to every stage of the product lifecycle, from concept through prototyping, testing, and manufacturing.
* Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements.
* Liaise with customers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into designs.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
* Proficiency in schematic capture and multilayer PCB design.
* Experience with switch mode power supply (SMPS) design.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Knowledge of EMC standards.
* Experience in microcontroller design.
